Chicken adobo with Pineapple

Chicken Adobo with Pineapple Recipe

It's my first time to twist the adobo with some pineapple tid bits. I've seen it in Judy Ann Santos' TV ads. Nagtry lang ako and surprisingly, my pihikan kids love it.


1/2 kg chicken (cut into serving pieces)
1 pouch del monte pineapple tidbits
1/2 cup vinegar
1/2 cup soy sauce
pepper (ground or whole)
1 small bayleaf
garlic (minced)
cooking oil for frying


combine all ingredients except for pineapple. marinate for 30mins.
fry the chicken until golden brown. set aside the sauce
when done frying, add the sauce and simmer
add the pineapple
serve hot! that's it!
